PROGRAM GOAL
The goal of the Data Conference is to inform participants of the latest developments in Chicago- and Illinois-focused asthma-related research.
PROGRAM OBJECTIVES
- Identify effective components of a training program for community health workers
- Describe methods to teach patients how to use respiratory inhalers correctly
- Discuss unique aspects of asthma in Hispanics
- Describe the impact Community Health Educators can have on reducing the burden of asthma
- Identify factors related to the adult caregiver that might influence asthma morbidity and obesity in children
