AUDIENCE
This meeting is intended for all asthma stakeholders including doctors, nurses, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, community health educators, representatives of community based organizations, and all others interested in asthma.
PROGRAM GOAL
The goal of this educational meeting is to further the mission of the CAC, which is to improve the quality of life for people with asthma in Chicago through networking, information sharing, education, and collaboration.
PROGRAM OBJECTIVES
- Describe smoking cessation tools for patients and families with asthma
- Discuss the current considerations for obese children with asthma
- Describe the keys to unlocking the cycle of asthma and depression
- Discuss evidence-based interventions for pregnant patients with asthma
