RHAMC's "Asthma Management" Training - Half Day

Tuesday 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
This 3 hour workshop is intended for those in the community who would like more knowledge and experience with asthma. It offers a basic asthma management review and instruction on how to facilitate the "Asthma Management" curriculum to adults and caregivers. Materials and tools will be provided.

RHAMC's "Asthma Management & Fight Asthma Now" Training - Full Day

Tuesday 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM
"Asthma Management & Fight Asthma Now" Training: This all day, hands on workshop will provide participants with an overview of asthma symptoms, triggers, medications, and equipment. Participants will learn how to facilitate "Asthma Management" and "Fight Asthma Now" (FAN) which is a youth and teen program. Materials and tools will be provided along with lunch.

Cost: $75.00 (2010 CAC Members receive a $5 discount!)

Chicago Community Health Workers Local Network Meeting

This month's presentation is entitled "Cardiac Illness Disparities in the Latino and African American Communities" and is offered in collaboration between the Chicago Community Health Workers Local Network and the American Heart Association. Presenter is Mr. Fil Mendez Guipoco MA, Director of Cultural Health Initiatives from the American Heart Association, Midwest Affiliate. This training will be given both in Spanish and English.
