Asthma Classes and Trainings in the Chicago-Area
PCC Community Wellness Center
Asthma Care Training (A.C.T.) For Kids
What is Asthma Care Training (A.C.T.)?
A.C.T. is a specially designed program about asthma for parents and children, ages 6-12. Topics include asthma triggers, warning signals, medications and much more.
Why go to the training?
Families that know more about asthma miss less school or work, spend less time in emergency rooms, and have healthier, more active kids.
When is A.C.T.?
A.C.T. is taught in a series of three classes. The 2-hour classes are held once a week in the evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. for three consecutive weeks. Classes are free with great prizes every week. Registration is required.
A.C.T. classes are held at PCC Community Wellness Center, Conference Room, 22 West Lake Street, Oak Park, IL 60302.
With enough participants, A.C.T. classes can be held at other locations and at different times.
